The entire Emoface team wishes you a happy new year 2022 full of adventure, emotions and love. We’re starting a new year, but what happened in 2021? Let’s do a retrospective together!
The impacts
- In March we launched the application Emoface Play&Learn Emotions on touchscreen tablet in 3 languages
- More than 1000 healthcare professionals and families have used Emoface Play&Learn Emotions in 10 countries.
The events
- Participation in trade fairs, conferences and study days: Vivatech, International Autism Show, M-lab Inauguration (Living Lab of the ARHM Foundation), ATRIA Study Day, ORNA Inshe Study Day), study in Belfort, Autism Fair in Amiens
- Jacques Chirac Foundation 2020 Innovation Prize ceremony for Emoface
- Visit by Sandrine CHAIX, Vice-President of the Regional Council responsible for social action and disability in Auvergne Rhone-Alpes
- Highlighting Emoface via a Brut video which generated more than 3 million views alongside our partner Hicham Kebdou from the SAISIPA association and his son Younès
- The team is growing! There are now 5 of us at Emoface.
Partnerships
- Collaboration with LiLLab to conduct a usability study of our application (with 40 participants)
- Participation in a startup acceleration program by HPE
- Incubation by TechCare (Paris and co), incubator dedicated to health
- Support for Orange #FemmesEntrepreneuses, a program that supports 100 women entrepreneurs throughout France.
Prices and calls for projects
- HandiTech Trophy Prize in the Education & Family category
- CURIE Trophy of the year with Philippe Béliard from the valorization subsidiary of Grenoble Alpes University
- Winner of the PAIR Project call (care pathway, disability, innovation, patient partnership) by Hospices Civiles de Lyon and the Lyon metropolis, with the EMOCARE project, supported by Emoface and the ARHM foundation (Action Research Disability and Mental Health). EMOCARE aims to improve the pediatric emergency care pathway for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
